Ball Mill

Basised on 30 years’experience on mining machinery production, combined the different opinions of customer, SBM designed the high-performance Ball Mill. SBM Ball mills are used primary for single stage fine grinding, regrinding, and as the second stage in two stage grinding circuits.
SBM Ball mills have been designed in standard sizes of the final products between 0.074 mm and 0.4 mm in diameter. Besides, ball mill have two processing ways: dry type and wet type and the processing type depends on the different materials and customers’ special requirements. It is sized from 2 TPH to 30 TPH for wet grinding and from 0.5TPH to 30 TPH for dry grinding.

Application of Ball Mill

SBM ball mill has has two ways of grinding: dry process and wet process and is a very efficient grinding mill for powder making.Now,SBM ball mill is widely applied in the cement, the silicate product, new type building material,fire-proof material, chemical fertilizer, black and non-ferrous metal, glass,ceramics and etc.

The suitable material of SBM ball mill is that non-flammable and non-explosive materials under 9.3(the Moh's hardness), such as quartz, feldspar, calcite, talcum, barite, fluorite, iron ore, copper ore quartz, slag, cement clinker, zircon sand, fly ash and carborundum, coal,etc.

Working principle of Ball Mill

SBM ball mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear.The materials are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and steel balls of different specifications in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height,the balls drop down,impact,crush and grind the materials.The final materials are discharged through the discharging board.
